Agra – The Land of Taj with all its splendor and magnificence attracts tourists .The city is situated on the banks of River Yamuna and boasts of the world renowned architecture Taj Mahal and some other monuments of the Mughal era.
Made of white marble and acknowledged as an epitome of symmetry. It is one of New Seven Wonders of the world and one of the three World Heritage Sites. Built by theMughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, it is perhaps the most wonderful and fascinating monument of India.
Apart from the Taj there are other monuments such as the Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikhri, Tomb of Akbar and the great Mughal gardens which are rich in heritage and historical importance.
